Will pulling ABS & DSC fuses disable AWD as well?

I took my CX-7 to rallycross last weekend, to see how it did for fun.

When I have rallycrossed other cars we usually disable the driver assists for more predictable car control. With that in mind, I pulled both ABS fuses and the DSC fuse. I got the predictable warning light on the dash. But along with those I got a warning light for the AWD system.

This raised the question, if the AWD system was working or not, with those fuses pulled.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Dave

For a rallycross I would wire 12 volts directly to the rear driveline clutch and disconnect one front halfshaft. If you do this fairly often there is an aftermarket kit from remco(sp) that allows you to manually lock/unlock a front halfshaft.

An aspect of DSC is used in order to know when the rear clutch must be disengaged so I'm not surprised that the "failsafe" mode was to fault the F/awd system.

Need help pulling my DSC fuse from the fuse box. I need to check it because my warning light came on. When I found the DSC #17 i found it was enclosed in a little box with the two ABS fuses plugged into the fuse box. I dont know how to pull these fuses and need help. I dont want to wrench to much on the multiple fuses and break something stupidly. Help?
