will be Mazda owner

Does the manufacture give the dealer incentives towards the end if the month? According to a few dealers they literally will not budge from current price. And they're willing to lose my business over 100$. So I can see how they can push lower towards the end if the month if they are "losing money". I would wait but unfortunately I sold my truck this last Monday. And I don't really have a car to borrow for more then a few day. I thought about renting but in the end I'll waste more money from renting a car then I would save.

It might be a little far for you, but have you tried Culver City Mazda? That's where my wife and I bought our GT FWD last December. Their first quote was a tad under invoice and I ended up getting them to $1k under. I'm sure some of it had to do with it being the end of the year and a GT model, but I had shopped quite a few dealerships and they were by far the lowest and most willing to negotiate.

Renting by the week is cheaper. Enterprise is one of the cheapest and the only one that will deliver it to your doorstep. Actually makes it easier to buy. Find best price at dealer in boondocks. Call Enterprise to pick up car at dealership. Drive new car home.

I contacted temecula which was recommended by another poster. I guess temecula can be considered boon docks. Lol. They emailed me saying they'll work up an quote then get back to me. But never did. And I don't want making a 1.5 hour drive unless I get a garaunteed low price. I seriously don't think I'd get more then 300$ less by waiting until the end if the month. 2 weeks of rental will be at least 200. I may just buy tonight. Wish me luck.

Dallas Ervin is their internet sales manager. He's the one who have me the quote at Temecula Mazda.

Their first offer was lower than any other offer I got in the Southern California area.

$26,034 plus taxes and fees was the offer for a

2015 grand touring, Pearl white. FWD.

So I almost bought yesterday out the door at 26685 for pearl white touring but supposedly they just sold it. I was so pissed. Aholes gave me a hard time trying to get a deposit out if me so they can transfer it over from another dealer. I walked out. Luckily I didn't, ends up my brothers friend works for corporate. They have a friends a family thing going on so 4% below invoice. So saves me an extra $100. Not much but at least I know its probably the current best deal. I expected a little more off but 100 is better then nothing after bargaining like a dog for a week.

Man sorry your having to work so hard for a good deal. Good of you to fight for what you want though. Good luck with the deal.

With 0% financing $300 ain't going to make much difference ($5 mo more @ 60 mo) especially if you are pay for a rental while waiting. I can say you'll be happier with the bigger engine and upgraded tech so long as you know you can afford the Touring model. If you give me a zip code I can run Consumer Reports best deals + report for your area. PM me if so. Also consider the MAZDA 5 as an alternative, which I also have. It's does a lot of things better than the CX5 and is much cheaper to acquire.
