will 17x8 fit ?

Most likely no...what are the offsets of the wheels you are looking at?

Definitely no for 17x9...

You need to look at the offsets, but the widest you can probably get is 17x7.5 WITH the right offset.

dont realy know the offset ? but would i be able to fit 17x8 with a good offset plus a spacer ? and what offset would i need if it can fit ?

In theory ... 17x8 +42 or +45 ....
but you will probably still have rubbing issues in the sedan and pretty much definitely in the p5.

The widest safe size is 17x7.5 +48

World challenge protege's are running 17x8's on their racecars. As for bodywork modifications I don't know if they have made any. I know they are running racing harts(look like rota sub zeros)

The RacingHarts TriPoint team uses are the CP-035. They could be 17x7.5 +48 size .. I know their tires are 255/45/17 bigass mofo's.

Best size tire for normal cars with stock suspension (less clearance) would be the oem sizes or close to it. (205/45 215/40 215/45)

would 225/45/17 fit, and what do spaicers do they bring out the wheel out right dose that mean it increeses the offset ?

Stay away from 225/45/17. Too big!

Spacers push the wheel out from the car, which means they decrease the offset. That is not what you need. What you do need is a wheel with high offset.
