No not that! But now that I have your attention...

Picked this up tonight to replace our old Oreck. It is a Dyson Animal DC14. She has always wanted one of these and is very happy. Right after I snapped the pics she was upstairs running it. Gotta Love Her!

Do you have pets? How does it work on doggie hair?

I have an older Sharp vacuum that's been a champ, but it's getting a bit long in tooth (and one of my dogs shoved it over and broke the thingy that keeps it upright - he was teaching the EVIL VACUUM a lesson I think) and I'm looking around for a replacement...

it is a dog/cat hair removal fiend...

you want one

Not what I was hoping to see based on the thread title... (boobs2) (lick)

Perhaps a tad chauvinistic, but if it makes her happy you can't argue with that.

rule #1 - never buy your wife an appliance for her birthday or anniversary! never!!

OK so it does pet hair - how does it do on small pets like canaries?

Sorry to disappoint some of you...haha

RacerXGirl - We have a Golden Retriever and a cat (calico/tiger mix). She only ran it a couple of minutes to try it out and it was quite disgusting the dog hair it pulled up! So YES it does a great job sucking up pet hair and I am sure it could suck up a canary or two also. :)

So did you get one yet? you need one of these NOW

Crazee D - No chauvinism here. I will run the vacuum, do dishes and do laundry as well.

Earful - (rofl2)

jred321 - Nope, try again. Our basement got 4 inches of water at the end of June and included in the items we lost were our Oreck upright and canister. So this is a replacement. Comparable in price to the Oreck, but no bags, filters or belts to buy EVER! Just wash the filter out every 6 months.

bazooka joe - Isn't that rules 1 thru 50 just to make sure we don't screw it up? (uhm)

Whew, response done.
