Wideband question

the stock j pipe has a bung there with a threaded plug in it. I just removed the plug and put the sensor there.
reviving an old thread for a question.. if u install the wideband sensor there what about the o2 that is currently there? if u remove it wont u get a cel?

the downstream o2 is after the first cat so you just leave it alone. The wideband can go on the j pipe, just remove that bolt and put the wideband sensor there. Easy 2 minute swap

I only have the o2 hole on the manifold and one on the j pipe i dont have a firdt cat only the one underneath.. its a tuboed ,p5

ok, I don't know why I was thinking it was a MSP..lol. Ok, you will need to move the second o2 sensor down on your exhaust and put the wideband sensor on the j pipe. If you throw a CEL for the second o2 sensor, just do the spark plug non fouler trick and it will go away if you have to deal with state inspections. Any exhaust shop should be able to knock that out fairly quickly and it's cheap. Just need an o2 bung which they will have and once it's welded on, move the stock sensor to the new bung and bam..there's your new spot for the wideband on the j pipe

doing this today and also adding a flex pipe i hope it works.... only problem i can see is extending the wires for the 2nd o2 sensor since its gonna be moved down on the exhaust
