It must be you then. No has had the software take down their laptop.
 
yes. it was me. i somehow hacked the program running my car, told it to screw my engine up, and then since the engine was so screwed, my laptop decided it didnt want anymore and quit :D

come on Nick, many people have said the software could use some work. It is time for an update, the software does not even recognize USB, and USB as been around since 95
not to mention perfect power has released newer versions of the software since the MPI tuner was released.

I tune with a USB almost everyday. Not all USB adaptor will right right with the sotware. I did find this out a few months back. Yes we have had three software updates on the MPI.
 
Hey Aric, how does Ken like that Haltech? Any problems with it? Everyone I've heard with the haltech seems to love it. I hear Brian may have had a problem with larger injectors and a cold start but thats the only problem I've heard from one person , one time.

What suck is how you work on cars. You take a good running MPI and **** it up. Then you remove it still go on and **** your car up even more. Then you post 10,000 time on how you cannot get you car running right. Go read a book on how to fix cars.

They all have problems with big injectors. Some just live with the problem, but their dyno numbers suck.
 
well my car runs great now with the bEGI and clamp. and i helped myself more than you could with your own product, so i wouldnt boast too much. oh and im sick of listening to your ******* mouth you little b****, so you can:

the haltech is running well, very easy to tune,even for people just starting out, the extra cash is worth it in my mind.

the MPi tuner is awesome, several turbo makers think it's worth the money...like Beau....wait...isn't he switching EMS to the AEM?? I even heard a nasty rumor he may be switching to haltech. Maybe one of MAM's several reps will comment on what he's using for ems now and in the coming months
 
really, the only people that I see, that are getting the most out of the MPI, are the people that use it with a MAP sensor, to controll their timing, and an extra set of injectors, and leaving the stock ecu to deal with idle and things like that
 
let me just say one thing!!! im 100% sure juan dosent spray on his p5. if people are making close to or over 300whp with the mpi, why is it sooooo hard to believe someone cant do it with the heltec?
