Yea, i stay right next door to ya in Shoreacres....so im always driving through pasadena, webster, clear lake, etc...I woulda took that turn with ya, but i planned on just cruising down Fairmont to begin with that day.

shoreacres? like league city area? i think my boss lives there.....i'm usually down at the LA Fitness over there on monday/thursday nights.

ah ok, i know where it is now....i was thinking south shore harbor. i'm maybe 15 min from you. i work over at Sulzer Hickham at 225 and 146.

Yea dude, we got nailed in Shoreacres. Just drove to the house earlier to check up on it and it looked like bombs exploded all over the neighborhood. People stripping all there houses, and all there s*** is all over the yards and in the roads.

The fam is indeed ok, and we got very lucky. Nothing in our house got damaged except for the garage being flooded, fence and the MSP. How did your place fair?

i got very lucky. lost power for over a week but that was it. i'm in an apartment complex on the second floor so i wasn't too worried about flooding, just the roof and windows. but no roof damage and no windows broken so i'm very thankful.

man i'm glad to hear the house survived. furniture and everything ok? cause one of my coworkers lived in shoreacres.....he lost everything :(

Yea, luckily my house was built higher than others, due to a city regulation at one point in time. Mostly everyone recieved 4ft of water in their houses, I got a little through the front and back door but not enough to damage the house and our belongings. My garage on the other hand sits lower, and thats what got flooded along with my car.....and my new fence got knocked down.

Glad to hear you made out pretty well. We just got power back a few days ago.
