if you're considering other stand alone managements you might also want to research the autronic engine management system. it's a former programmer/tuner from motec that started his company when he realized he could make more money marketing his own products, LOL. same quality and fuctions as it too but since he programmed some of the programs he's put his own little twists and patents into the autronic, plus, the biggest kick is that they're a real affordable system (as far as FULL engine management systems go. the dealer/tuner down here for them usually has his systems installed and tuned starting at $2,500). a lot of rally cars and circuit cars run that system. namely where i'm at, they've got a lot of fast drag cars running the systems. it also may also help that the aussie based company may be a tad bit closer to your part of the world? *shrug*bpt04w said:yep and i have upgraded the engine a fair bit since i bought it, i now have about 270 hp at the wheels and low 12's (clutch slip is bad for times good for saving boxes) . thanks for the advice gen1gt i have the protege manifold and intend to use it after a bit of hydralic porting (they draw paste through with a grinding medium in it) to make it go a bit better and i intend to get the e-boost i have to do the control since it might not be to good for the valves to have a high boost hit them at the wrong time, or i might get the microtech computer to do it i'm not sure yet since it will depend on where the new turbo i'm getting will spool up at.
just noticed that gen1gt has exactly the same front on his car (took the big ugly bar off) and that he chopper the trunk off of his car it would look like mine![]()
