Anyone still obsessed with their MSP and vowing never to part with it?
Anyone still have huge plans for there baby?
Anyone still just love to drive their car?
If you do ... tell us all why!

That is exactly the way I feel about my MSP. Probally mostly for the fact that it was my first car. I've made it this far with it and have never had any serious problem with it.(Knock on wood) It has treated me good, putting up with the mods and fairly aggresive driving. I have big plans for the car still and have no intent of getting rid of it anytime soon.

I would part w/ it for a MS6 :)
I never had "big plans" for the MSP all I wanted to do was improve little things I thought would make it perfect.
YES! although the rough ride sometmes gets on my nerves

Yes, I still love mine. I don't plan any big mods but I run in SCCA's stock class Solo. As for never parting with it, never is a long time. So far, I have not found another car I would rather have to fill its role as a daily driver and autoX car. Why do I like it? It looks nice, has enough power to be interesting, the handling is surprisingly quick and balanced for a front wheel drive car. For the most part the ride is not bad. It carries 5 people if needed. It has a good size trunk despite the stereo. It gets decent fuel mileage and has been very reliable.

The first thing I would have done defferently is the stereo. Too many, too tiny buttons make it difficult while driving.

I would never part her out.
I have been with out a motor in my car since september, and the lsd broke back in feb. of 06'. Still, I wouldn't give that car up for anything, I love to drive it. It's been anywhere from key west to tallahasee, and I loved every mile in that car. Wouldn't want anything else. (first)

I have had mine for a year after being posessed into buying one by two of my best friends that have an orange and a blue one. I am still absolutely in love with it. Its parked in my garage for the winter but I still feel the need to go out into my garage just to stare at it probably more often than normal.... enough speed for me, excellent handling, reliable, wide range of after-market options.... Its no ten second car, but damn its fun!

Definaly i am still on love with it. But thats clors car. im guna get srt4 or cobalt SS supercharged

I love mine every time I get in it and take off... I dont drive as much as I used to so driving it now is even more special.

i still love mines. im the only spicy in my area and everyone likes it as it is. i can't wait till its complete, i have big plans for mines.

keeping it a jdm look. not a show car look.

I do, I do! I', barely startin g with the big stuff. I've replaced the turbo and exhaust mani for a Spool T3, MPI turnerand now I have a turbonetics 60-1 and a FMIC to install. Still need a built block and fine tuning for that.

Sounds like your off to a great start.

I would say that I am torn in the middle... I love the car when I drive it, but most of the time it sits in the garage. I wanted to sell it, but things didn't work out and I still have it. I am still doing things to the car, it's going to the paint shop next week and I am currently getting more carbon fiber products made for it.... like door panels. The car has been great except last year... I got to experience a broken lsd, and then I threw a rod a few months that. Hopefully things work out better this year...

I too come from the broken LSD club, I had to wait 7 months to get my car back together, 5 of those were from waiting for 6 bolts and nuts (Gay!). I also had the car sit in storage 6 months as I waited for my CF trunk to come back from development (VIS test dummy). I've broken the mounts, popped of charge pipes at the oddest times, I have done it all to myself and I can't blame anyone other than myself for that. I have had the car broken or missing parts longer than I have been able to drive it. Even through all that I LOVE my car and will continue to enjoy it until I can no longer fix it.

That's dedication!

After 105k miles I still love my MSP. I'm planning on running time trials with it again this year, then it will be decision time again. I already have my car that I'll never sell, my '72 Chevelle which was my first car.
