Woohoo!! 4/1267=nowhere close to respectable...if you can call what I've done modding(hand)
maybe you haven't smoked pot, but at least i, in my pothead state, can read and make a correct ratio...
i think we'd all like to see what 1267 mods you've put on your car in 4 miles.

yes, but we are not talking about limits OR functions.
also post 43 starts with the limit APPROACHING 0. that would be impossible with mods and mileage on the car

You can divide by an infinite number of values that come ever closer to zero and get a defined value. You cannot ever divide by zero and get a defined value.
A limit is an expression of the "intended value" of a function at a point. The graph of 1/x has no value when x is zero. There is no point for which you can calculate a slope.
The y axis where X is zero is an asymptote, and there will never be a value there. Ever. While the limit approaches infinity, the actual value is DNE or undefined.
And now I have to say: NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERDS.

Isn't it supposed to be mods/mile (4/1267) not mile/mods (1267/4)?
it's supposed to be whatever the title of the thread is...it's a fraction, it can go either way, so long as the demoninator is not 0

Two whole pages debating the value of zero. It's like a super geeky Seinfeld episode... in hell.
I'm low on the number of mods, but I'm pretty up there on dollars spent, so here's my twist on the OP's topic starter:
Modification Dollars Spent Per Mile
(these are approximate numbers that include shipping and/or installation charges)
Total Modification Dollars Spent: $3632
Miles Driven: 11,237
Modification Dollars per Mile: $.32
Then there's also the Modification Dollars Per Day breakdown...
Days Owned: 226
Total Modification Dollars Spent: $3632
Modification Dollars per Day: $16.07
This is all well and good... and fun, but what would be really interesting is having some people post on their actual cost of ownership and break that down per mile or day.
What I'm talking about in actual cost of ownership is:
