, btw, i need creativity, i ordered my boost guage and guage pod so im hopeing those will be in daveb is sending me brushed rings tomorrow to match my boost guage, and im hoping all this will be on by saturday b4 the meet, im gonna need some idea of more stuff i can do. i think im running on dry. i dunno what else i can do that would look awesome to this car, its so awesome as it is. muhbe i should get me some vinyl graphics... but im so picky, if i got em on and there was the least bit wrong wif em id rip it off, i think im gonna save up and buy my boost controller then maybe drop about 3k into getting some real carbonfiber or mabye the dgmotorsports carbon fiber kit. but 300 dollars good lord thats alot of money, i might jsut get me some carbon fiber vinyl and do it that way. hrm...... IDEAS IDEAS. i dont wanna junk the car up its just everytime i look at it its missing one thing. and then after that another thign LOL i cant stop im hooked on msp

the thing that plagues me is the i think the wheels and suspension looks way too stock. i feel the car doesnt look NEAR low enough and the wheels dont look NEAR custom enough. unfortunately- theyre both really expensive to fix

a good bug on this forum said the key is a ton of real quick coats, so the paint doesnt run together and leaves marks. just one quick spray and it dries faster too, sound like a good idea?

I dont know exactly what you are painting.. but when I paint stuff (sorry no pics to show as proof) I usually paint in multiple light coats.... letting it thoroughly dry in between ... it usually comes out nicer that way... and I always spray.. never brush... I dont know just some extra insight, I guess.

well i would lower it BUT, i cant, the neighborhood i live in doesn't have cutins for driveways so yoru basically driving up the curb to get into your driveway so when i move i'll lower it besides that i kinda like the rally stance. i dunno if i'd lower it TOO much, maybe just a lil. the wheels i love man yoru crazy they have to be the bes tlooking stock wheels i have ever seen. but in the end i'll prolly end up changing them. i dunno maybe maybe not. but i like them for now the only thing i seriously am gonna change is those nasty potenza's for some nitto's or kumo

ya sorry if i made it sound wierd... i def was talking about spraying and when i said one quick coat, i meant every coat should go on quickly and allowed to dry and then repeat numerous times. is that the tested and proven best way??

I think it just makes sense really....... and "Nasty Potenzas!!!!!" the ones on the MSP might not be that good... but Bridgestone makes some really awesome quality tires!! I think you should just save your money, and wait for something that really catches your eye.. it sounds like you have a hole in your pocket... and want to burn some cash . but you are settling for the next thing you can get your hands on...

it's all gotta be done eventually so why not spend the cash if you got enuf to buy what you want? once the little things are out of the way then you get into the big cash i can save money, but dont see a point in saving if what i come across i like and want in my car and i can buy at the moment

I painted 2 interior pieces and I have learned from my mistakes....BE PATIENT...sand well, use primer, quick sprays of light coats allowing the paint to dry. I got impatient and buried one spot with a ton of paint and obviously it dripped. If a piece has a clearcoat already on it, use nail polish remover to get rid of it (got that tip from dragonbabe). So go light, and be patient. It will take many hours, but it's worth it.

Sorry, but to me most graphics are too extranious and break up the cars lines... I like smooth, clean cars. unless its like a GT300/500 series Race car.. then it has power, so it could look like crap and Id still like it.

Are you kidding?! Its called the internet. You can buy anything.. and those Decals that are on that Miata of yours(the one I assume you are talking about).. whoopidee doo.. it says mazda and there's a sperate mazda logo... do you know how many places on the internet have Mazdaspeed banners, Mazda logos, and mazda letterings? A Ton. Just search... and I'm sure anyone could reproduce a replica for you. So really most people wouldnt know the difference, or give a crap anyway. And how many times are you going to tell us about your sponsorships?? Do any of us really care? And just because some of us dont autocross or have sponsors, that means we cant have our OWN opinions of graphics on cars???? you slapped some stickers on your car, and we are supposed to assume that.."oh she must be sponsored because those are obviously Official sponsorship stickers that you get when You drive in second gear all day around a bunch of cones.. Wow I should tell her how much her stickers look good, even though I dont like them." :wtf:
