I'm currently on TurboXS Downpipe and a custom testpipe (that means no cats, folks) and I get white smoke out of my tailpipe after I drive for a while. I have a 45 mile drive to and from school Monday-Friday and everytime I park my car, I see a bunch of white smoke puffing out of my tailpipe. It's not like it's cold here in LA at noon-time, either. My instructor says I probably have some coolant leeking into my engine from somewhere.
A few things to add:
- I have no cats and I have a CEL on from my secondary O2 sensor
- the O2 sensor thinks my car is running lean, making my onboard computers to tell my car to run richer
- I have my BOV set to VTA
- I'm going to bypass the O2 sensor this week so don't yell at me for that
Also, I've been driving with my O2 sensor going haywire for a couple thousand miles or so. I know running rich damages my O2 sensor but...would it have damaged it so much so far that I have to replace the A/F sensor (I heard it's an A/F sensor and not an O2 sensor for our cars)?
