I'm looking to buy a base, manual trans, Mazda2, but I can't decide on the color.

What does everybody think:

Spirited Green or Aquatic Blue?

I like 'em both !

Same question I have been pondering. I keep thinking keep it simple with a regular color,( ok thats the wifes idea) but whenever i go by the dealer and see the spirited green i brings the kid out in me, i just think it a cool color, but as states by ddawson will it be ok in 3 or more years.

I wasn't even considering the green at first, but I guess my eyes & brain have gotten used to it since I've stared at it so many times now.

It seemed way too bright & maybe something for a younger person when I first began looking. I'm in my upper 30's. It just seems normal now though after seeing it so many times.

The blue is nice & vibrant too, so I just don't know.

Anyone have a picture of all the different colors all lined up next to each other?
(Actual pics, not the photoshopped looking ones)

Even the pics on Mazda's website are a little misleading from what they look like in person.

White and Green best two colors!

the aquatic blue is a bit to soft of a blue for my liking

I say go with the aquatic blue. i've seen a few greens here in cali and i find it as an eyesore after awhile. it makes the car look much smaller and and makes the car i dunno cheap? aquatic blue has a different color that i havent seen and it looks pleasing on the eyes. like what the other guy said it all depends on the shade of the sun thats what makes the blue cool. aquatic blue was actually my first choice too then i saw the white and reminded me of my old ek9 conversion and the added pearl ads luxury to the car hehehe

Here's a pic to kind of give an idea on the shade of blue.

The car to the left is light blue, so you can see the Mazda is a darker, brighter blue.

In some lights it seems like it has sort of a greenish tint to it, and it'll look darker or brighter depending on the light hitting it.

One thing I've noticed about the Mazda2 is that all colors look good on it, I guess because it's so small & also the shape & the lines on the car.
Take spirited green & put it on any of the other cars in this picture & it would probably look not-so-good, but on the Mazda I really like it.

It's almost as good as the blue. :) :) :)

I like the Blue...it was my third choice after the Silver....but I chose the Spirited Green Metallic...and my wife and I are pushing 50. We have had it since November...and just love the color...more every day...but of course color choice is a very personal thing. I will say...the blue is much more attactive in person...than in pictures....you really need to see the blue in person to do it justice....but I suppose that is equally true for the Green and Silver. Enjoy your dilemma(uhm)

yea i have seen the blue in person...its a lighter blue. there is a darker blue color that didnt come to the states. i do like the darker blue. but the aquatic blue ehh...

as mentioned above the green could be unliked by others but if you like the color i cant see you getting sick of it...seems like an awesome color to accent the mods you put into it :-)

my girlfriend just bought the white and its really nice, and personally i want to buy the green as a daily driver since my RX8 is hurting me on gas daily driving it.

Blue...my fave color out of those available. I do like the green but you see it everywhere, on tv, the web and that is the main color of them I have seen around town...same as the Fiesta. I actually went to a dealer today that had all colors in stock and blue was my fave. Liked it online but after seeing it in person was sold. But it's your money and will be your car, buy what is going to make you happy!

I like the blue quite a bit too after seeing it in person.
I stared at the blue, then the green, then the blue, then the green. It was a stalemate.
I don't really care for the Fiesta green too much; they should've just made the Mazda that green instead & then my decision would be easy.
Anyway the dealers are supposed to get some more stock next week I think, so depending on what they get maybe
I'll just flip a coin, or if I'm tortured & forced to pick I think I'll pick blue.

I was thinking about the red before changing my mind and going with the green, after spending hours in a dealership looking at the green one they had on the showroom floor. It is very bright and it stands out, but that's what I love about it -- it really turns heads. Better yet, it makes it easy for other drivers to see me on the road, which was a concern for me being in such a small car!

I originally sat in the green, loved it but never imagined myself liking it for more than maybe a year. I looked at the blue, liked it as well but too soft of a blue for me. Honestly, the blue would be my last choice and I went in thinking it would be my first choice. I was then gunning for the white one but my fiance has a white car and said don't get one because they get dirty so quick so I ended up going with Silver since I've never had a silver car, figured it would hide scratches and dirt and easy to maintain and so far it really has been. If I was you though and had a second go round, I'd go with white for sure. Someone on the forums has a white Mazda2 with white wheels and it looks awesome. Get what makes you happy though :)
