Which manufacturer looks closest to HID without the cheap look?

I just bought a set of PIAA bulbs for around 110. Im hoping they look good!!! What have you guys found to be a good set of light bulbs that are close to the HID look without looking cheap and blue?

You bought 1 set of PIAA's for 110? Damn I wish I had that kinda of money. Get the Sylvania Silverstars for 30 bucks for both.

Take those mo fo's back.

Also get wattage: 55w for the headlights anything else will melt you harness.

Sylvania Silver Stars are the way to go. PIAA does make a good bulb...but for some reason does'nt last to long.

I have the PIAA super plasma gt-x, apparently it has a 5200k color light or something, I do know it looks pretty damn close. Has a puplish hue to it, and my friends tell me they can tell when I pull up just by the headlights, so for me that is good, plus the light output is great as well. I paid 95 for mine, I dont' vaule money at all(bang)

I personally like my 100w "Purple" Nokya's....and there not that expensive...don't remember how much though...had then for a while now the only thing is the fogs, signals, and headlights don't look exactly the same color...I guess since they are different sizes and wattages. But all bulbs in the pic are Purple Nokya's.

sylvania silver stars? Our headlights are 9003? I have never owned a vehicle that hasnt had 9004 headlight bulbs. I always thought H4 bulbs were for foglights and s***....

Oh, where is a good place to order a set, ill return these damn piaa's and put my 80 extra bucks to good use

nokya makes great bulbs and look fairly close to the "HID look". the silverstars are also great.

you can get an upgraded harness from any discount auto parts or pep boys. it is like $35 if i remeber correctly.
i have had an APC harness installed for over a year with no problems and i am running APC bulbs 100w/130w.

unfortunately, APC does not make those bulbs anymore; they went to a crappy looking bulb that produces more white than blue. bastards.

The Silverstars look pretty good. Quite a bit whiter light than stock. Not bluish or purpleish.

Why would you want to have more blue in your headlights than white? Just wondering if there was some type of special reason, thats all.

Get the silverstars, they look GOOD, last GOOD, and are GOOD quality. Dont go for that crappy blue/purple fake ebay HID stuff regardless if its from APC, PIAA or anyone else- name isnt always everything.

The main headlights are 100w...I don't know what the rest are but should be about stock wattage.... no problems, burn outs, wire harness damage, etc......
