ya i had a bad wastegate that was causing a vacuum leak, wasnt too bad, but i didnt know it caused a vacuum leak. eventually fouled out my primary o2 sensor. i went to the dealer and got one but that didnt fix the problem. spray the carb cleaner like you said and nothing. changed the maf, nothing. changed my intake manifold and tb gaskets, nothing. cleaned my injectors, nothing.
After all that i gave it and took it to the dealer for a diagnostic, turns out they gave me a bad o2 sensor from the start. all that other s*** and the 2 weeks of driving my gf's pos grand am were for nothing. not to mention the extra $500-something dollars in un-needed parts that maxed out my credit card which caused me to go from 0% apr to 25%.
i hate having no money...
