Hey everyone! This is my first thread on the board and I've really learned a great deal from you guys already. As you can see from my sig., I just bought my MSP a week or so ago. With the help of this forum, I've already fixed several problems I found when I bought the car. This weekend I programmed the remotes, fixed the rear end clunk with Energy Suspension bushings I found at Autozone, and added a temporary short-ram intake from some spare parts I had laying around.
I'm not sure if this works for these vehicles or not, but I disconnected/reconnected the battery to hopefully reset the ECU after I did the intake mod. Does this work? I have found it successful on past vehicles. I always let them idle for 10 minutes afterwards to set idle A/F.
To not go to far of topic, I have posted in other threads about excess boost (10 to 12 psi according to guage) . I bought the MSP this way and have worried myself (and the dealer - great bargaining tool
) about this for the past week. I can't find a boost controller under the dash or in the engine bay. The motor runs great and I have been good about staying out of the boost, but I would rather dial the boost back a little if I could. The only other thing I can think of is the WGA spring mod. I can't tell if anything has been tampered with in the engine other than the BOV. Any suggestions?
Bryan
