Where do these LED swap outs go?

Got them on eBay....$15 bucks shipped with the pry tool.
No problems with the back up camera. Actually...the light is cleaner and actually makes backing up easier.
The lights have a frosted cover so it's just white light versus yellow.

Also - my license plate LED lights don't look the same as most of the ones I have seen. Maybe they aren't as bright?
DBLXX, I'm trying to find your 9-piece interior LED kit via your eBay link. But that particular eBay kit via the link you provided seems different from yours. I emailed seller okone321, and confirmed that the kit does not include sun visor vanity LEDs. It doesn't come with pry tool either. Would you mind double check your eBay seller again and let us know? I'm trying to find your kit mainly because yours seems to have dimmer license plate LEDs. Thanks in advance!

I ordered these a month or two ago - vanity (2), front and rear dome (4), trunk (1), licence plate (2) for 9 bulbs... also ships to Canada for canucks out there. They did send a couple bulbs that were the wrong size (couldn't fit in no matter what) but when I told them they immediately shipped the proper size bulbs and I would expect they've corrected that for future orders.

You don't need a prying tool - a small flat-head screw driver will work fine without marking anything - something a bit bigger than one used for glasses would do.

i bought those initially, but yeah - came with wrong sized bulbs - 37mm instead of 31mm - some i could fit in by tweaking the housing pins, some no way

i wrote them and identified that their listing was incorrect, but didn't bother returning them - not when return shipping is more than i paid elsewhere
interesting that their Cdn price is a lot higher than than US price (even with exchange rate)

went with this company - slightly longer shipping (but free) and cheaper too

Howdy Ray,

Here's the ones that I ordered and put in,
good customer contact and fast delivery.
I really liked the look that it has now instead of
the warm darker lights. It sure is a shame that
the CX-5 doesn't have more Courtesy Lights like in
the doors and floorwells.

the plastic pry tool was really too big I think
I used a small flathead screwdriver with a piece
of tape wrapped around the blade for a little
protection.

That's the only thing I saw on eBay with tools but it has 11 pieces which is different from what DBLXX ordered. Do you think the rear license plate LEDs are too bright from this kit?

Hope you've been enjoying your new CX-5 so far!

Howdy Ray,

I know, I had two large bulbs left over but for the pricing and
at the time I thought the tool would be worth getting.

I've been loving my CX-5, I've not driven it much but we've got a Road Trip Planned
soon which should really let it stretch it's legs out on the Open Road !!!!

I've been reading the Manual and checking things out, and have been pleased with all
the features and options.

How are you liking your's????

I just went out and put in the License Plate LEDs, looks like they're
be good, those OEM bulbs were a PITA
to get out. I was afraid I was going to break the bulb, so put
duct tape around it and it helped to pull it out.

One thing when you go to put any of these in, make sure and test them before
buttoning the covers back on, you have to have them only one way for them
to work.

If you feel the license plate LEDs are not too bright, but all others are bright enough from this LED kit, that's all I need to know and I'll go ahead order this kit. Thanks for the tips too!

I actually found that the back up camera works much better with the LED lights. I replaced all of my lights except the DRLs and turn signals with LEDs. They are brighter and have much nicer color. The reverse LED lights are very bright and the camera seems to pick up the light better and make things further back even easier to see in super dark situations.

Bought the 9 piece LED kit. No clue where these go.
Any idea.

I've tried searching eBay for the last couple of weeks and still couldn't find the exact kit DBLXX described. I checked 9-piece interior LED kit via DBLXX's eBay link. But that particular kit is different from DBLXX's. I emailed seller okone321, and confirmed that the kit does not include sun visor vanity LEDs. It doesn't come with pry tool either. Would anybody or DBLXX provide eBay seller or link for this exact 9 piece LED kit DBLXX bought? I'm trying to find this kit mainly because this kit seems to have different and dimmer license plate LEDs as DBLXX had verified.

Sorry boys.....here it is >> https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)

Apologies.

That's why I shy away from kits of unknown specs. I went with this bulb. VLEDS tells you the color temperature (6K) and the brightness (180 lumens). For the wife's Camry, I went with the 5K version.

Yes, I can definitely see the road pavement behind the car lit up. No, it does not distract from the rear view camera. I swapped on my interior AND exterior bulbs with LED. My Tech Package came with HID headlights and I'm quite happy with those.
