Where do these LED swap outs go?

Bought the 9 piece LED kit. No clue where these go.

Any idea.

The 2 on the left you can use for the license plate light. The other two you can use for the interior and cargo overhead lights. And depending on dimension, the 2 on the right may for the mirror lights in the visor.

Got it. I already replaced the ceiling lights in front and back. So the circles must be license plate and the other on the right the sun visor makeup lights.

Do you mind to tell us where did you get your LED interior light kit? Do you have issues to view the back up monitor in the night due to rear license plate LED's are too bright?

Got them on eBay....$15 bucks shipped with the pry tool.

No problems with the back up camera. Actually...the light is cleaner and actually makes backing up easier.

The lights have a frosted cover so it's just white light versus yellow.

I purchased this kit a few months back. I just noticed one of the license plate bulbs was flashing (due to a short?) I emailed the company and asked if they sold just the plate bulbs. They told me their kit comes with a one year warranty, so they sent me 9 new bulbs this week!(yippy)

I didn't install the license plate lights from the 9 bulbs LED kit either. I don't need to illuminate my plate more than it is already and I also read that they impact the quality of the picture from the backup camera.

DBLXX got his LEDs from eBay and many others got theirs from Amazon. May be the wattage or light output on these LEDs for license plate are different?

It's very possible. I actually went out this evening to test it out again.

I've got to say - I see better with the white light.

I've got to retract this statement a bit. I finally opend the package today to find just the pair of plate bulbs. (sad2)

I'm kinda confused about the use of incandescent lights on the rear license plate. All this future tech and they didn't use LED? My 6 year old Bimmer has LED lights

Also - my license plate LED lights don't look the same as most of the ones I have seen. Maybe they aren't as bright?
