Where can we buy a roll cage like the Mazdaspeed B-spec?

I've been searching for the roll cage used in the B-Spec Mazda2. I'm planing for the future, not this summer but heck very soon

May have to go custom if your not finding anything. Maybe Derrick can chime in here. With all that tubing in the car you'll likely want to budget race seat(s) and harnesses as well. Setting up for stage rally? Hill climb?

mazda2 isn't a listed model in the mazdaspeed parts catalog , other than the b-spec kit which is purchased third party through tri-point engineering iirc. I believe they have some of the pieces if you search by just raw part number though.

more than likely you will have to have someone fab the cage for you if you want the type found in the B-Spec Mazda 2's.....Mazdaspeed Motortsports does not carry bolt in cages IIRC.

yea from what I know there is no spec cage for the series. Then again I don't know of many series that has a spec cage. I know that there is a few companies who make cages for the b-spec 2 though. I just can't remember the name.

Yeah I spent way too much on stu with the 6 and the speed 3 and got screwed with the rules in both cases, so I'm going back to my roots, slow assed fwd cars!

Balls. I was expecting to have 600 lbs of ballast for the beginning of the year but with the mini winning the runoffs and the PWC championship they are leaving us alone

How long does it takes normally to build a roll cage? I was thinking of a back 1/2 set-up, not a full interior cage. I'm going to do some lapping and use the Car for DD also, don't want to crawl in all the time

once the interior is out and the sound deadener is removed, about 16 hours on our last car. Tig welded. Mig is a little be quicker, but not quite as sexy!
