Black 2001 Mazda Protege
I am looking for a stock mazdaspeed protege bumper set...cuz i am in the process of changing my 2001 protege es into a speed(rockon) if anyone can help me out, please doo. email all links to beglebite1@hotmail.com

you can always contact the dealership but thats an expensive solution. Look out at the junk yards (not all accidents are front end, hehehe) car-part.com I think also has something available. Um, check out mazdastuff.com.....I dont think they have it on the website, but call them and find out how much for msp bumper (you will aslo need msp or mp3 or mp5 reinforcement bar in order to fit msp bumper on, unless you already know about it, heh just making sure) also check http://www.trussvillemazda.com/index.cfm (they dont have it on the website) but call them too. Hope this helps

whats the differance, im also looking for who makes the stock exhaust for the mazdaspeed protege

/\these are always for sale in the for sale forum try nate0123 he might still have one for sale

is the wingswest bodykit the same thing??

no but very close.

Also you dont have to just look for a Speed bumper. There are a lot fewer of them out there. They put the same bumper on the P5's and the MSP's too.

I totally forgot about those. I had mine shaved off when I built the car and totally forgot about those. Ya, good catch Dex!

Just a few things about doing the MSP bumper conversion, since i've covered this a few times.

You need more than just the front bumper to make this conversion work. Depending on which bumper look you want (either the 2003 with the fogs, similar to the P5 but w/o sidemarkers) or the 2003.5/.7 (special lip on bottom, no fogs) Most of the parts involved are the same, but the main difference is the lip for the latter which must be ordered, or the fogs for the 2003 model. In addition to the front bumper, you will also need the front bumper reinforcement, new inner fenders, new upper grille (with flying M),and a small assortment of nuts/bolts/fasteners. Dealership will charge you about 1800 bucks for everything you need, including the fogs or lip whichever you choose. It's a good bit of work but looks awesome when its done, and totally worth the money IMHO.

If you have any questions on parts, installation, etc., feel free to PM me or IM me on AIM, I'd be more than happy to help.

it cost me 256 for the mp3 (known as the mps suspension at the dealer) bumper at my local dealer. thats just the bumper cover. not to shabby. i was expecting over 400 for it.
