ok when should i add thease things:

1. hks blowoff valve
2.boost controoler
3.turbo timer
4.innercooler
5.air intake / cold or short?

what ive done already and is it safe:

ok where the air box is theres that vacume looking addapter peace that comes off the front of the air box well i removed that and added a flexable tube that now runs down into the bumper with a performance filter at the end (cold air intake) and i removed the stock filter and closed the box ! is this ok or should i switch it back?

thanks, mike.b

id say after the car has 750 miles on it.
before you up the boost i would say get an exhaust.
turbo timer should be 1 or 2 on your list.
intercooler should be last on your list there just cause the stock will hold up but if you got the dough go for it.
hks blowoff valve will come in play when you get a front mount intercooler or hard pipes instead of stock plastic.
COLD AIR INTAKE is what would be best and its easy to install.
just my 2 cents.

interesting intake, i dunno how safe it is so can't help you there. i'd say first get a real cai. then a boost controller. then a bov if you want, and finally the fmic. if you want to get a turbo timer, might as well get that first but it's not a necessity. save some money and just sit in your car for 30 sec after a hard run...ya know, enjoy the moment :D

Well if you really want to do it well, it's painful, cuz well the proper way wouldn't be getting the boost controller first, although you want to cuz it's the fastest way to get more power.

I suggest these following mods in these order:
1. turbo timer
2. Front mount intercooler
3. Cold Air Intake or HKS bov(bpv)
5. Boost controller.

Reason why this mix?? Well turbo timer is a priority if you don't wanna wait, but if you have the patience you can save about 80 bucks on it and use it on other mods. I reallly suggest a way to cool the intake charge before turning up the boost, this is regardless of whether the internal can take it or not. The internal has nothing to do with how hot the charge is. I'm more worry about detonation. With a hotter cylinder your radiator fan would just simply run more "frequently."

With FMIC, you get your power more consistently and you don't have to go up to like 100 octane fuel if you want to turn up the boost dramatically. CAI helps the turbo compressor, cuz the cooler air takes less work to compress than hot air, you might not know it, but your turbo would require less work and that translate to a more free flowing system, where the turbo can pump air and it can increase pressure ratio easier too.

Remember most people care about compressor map and compressor performance and so forth, but the most important part of the turbo should be the turbine map. That's where all the turbo's power and performance is really at. The turbine provides the work. In plain english, if you got a more efficient turbine, your boost would spool faster, harder, and that equals more fun. It doesn't matter if you got the most efficient compressor if your turbine can't power it.

I know this is long and boring reading, but this is how I'm gonna tune my car. Now only wish I have the money to get that Ion kit or spool kit or custom kit :(
