wheels without suspension

Im thinking of gettin some wheels. Possibly 18" black with red lip..
but all i have for suspension is eibach springs..lowered at 2"
you guys think this is a good fit?
i wouldnt have enough money for descent shocks let alone some coilovers.
thoughts!?

if it's lowered you will rub with 18s btw....i rub slightly with 17

scrap the 18 rims and.....there's a guy selling his tokico illumina set with springs for 550....those are sweet and that's about 300 cheaper than new

well actually im gettin the wheels as a present...but i can probably get a smaller size. would that do for now? i mean without shocks?

ok first get your facts straight. shocks do not affect ride height, springs do. there are many aftermarket lowering springs that will work with the stock struts and give you a lowered stance. for example tein http://www.therpmstore.com/product_info.php?cPath=25_49&products_id=103

now if you are wanting the best upgrade for performance you will be better off to save for coilovers. there is tons of information on this site do some research and don't jump into buying anything to quickly

Rubbing has nothing to do with wheel size, but with offset. Get the correct offset and you won't rub.

Well, your suspension might not be complete, but if you plan to get wheels, go for it. I will look good, since you are lowered.

Yep, just make sure you get the right offset and tire size on and you'll be fine.
Wheels have function as well if they are light.

and yea theyre super light..im gonna go get them installed tomorrow hopefully.
