Hi All!

I'm researching wheels & tires for my MP5 and made a call to tirerack... they told me 205's will not fit on the stock 16" rims and I wouldn't be able to fit 215's on a 17" either.

I thought that was wierd and wondered if anyone is running these without any rubbing.

Thanks in advance!

Go into the wheel forum and talk to a man named Rishie (autoRnD). He's the man for fitments on our cars, and he'll tell you what you can and can't do. Don't listen to Tirerack! Hell, they told me my car was 4 lug, not 5!

Um, I had 205/45/16 put on my car. They fit fine. It's the same exact size I have on my other car and that was from the factory.

Screw Tire Rack, order them online from www.tires.com or buy them from your local discount tire store. Them are some nice peeps.

and YES you can run a 215 on a 17 inch rim....I know I am .....and no rubbing.....all you have to do is have the right wheel offset and the correct size 215....

a 215/40/17 on a 17 X 7 1/2" wheel with a +48mm offset and you are IN BUSINESS...

oh btw...this does go in the wheel forum....so AWAY YOU GO!!!!
