Wheels for sale

I'm selling the stock 18" RX-8 wheels off my car and the 18" Work Meister S2Rs if anyones interested.

The stocks only have about 1500 miles on them and are 18"x8" with the stock Potenza tires.

The Works have some pretty bad curb damage on the left side but I fixed all the curb damage on the right and they look pretty damn good. Cost me $175 to get the right side fixed by Alloy Wheel Repair. The Work wheels are 18 x 8 and 18 x 9 with offsets of +53 front and +61 rear.

Lemme know if anyones interested. Asking about $900 for the stocks and only $1000 for the JDM Work Wheels. Prices are negotiable.

Damn, I don't like the sound of this Dan. If you're selling both sets of wheels, what's that mean for the car?

As for the wheels, I would be all over the stocks if I had the cash flow right now. When I do have the money I'll be sure to check with you to see if you still have them. I won't have any use for the tires though. Way too big to throw on my car. Any chance you'd seperate and what would be the price if you did? I can probably get the tires taken off the rims for cheap.

I'd prefer to sell the stock wheels/tires together because I don't know who'd buy just the Potenza tires in that size. Yeah, I was told that the car is a "total loss". I just have to wait for all the paperwork to go through the body work shop and my insurance agency.

Completely understandable. We'll just see what the situation looks like when I have a little cash flow again. Never can tell, I might be able to sell the Potenzas off to someone.

Lowering the price of the stock RX-8 Wheels to $800.

I can't sell the Work Wheels now. I had a set of wheels that I thought would fit the wrecked RX-8, but they don't fit!! The bolt pattern and offsets were good, but they wouldn't clear the brakes!!

I think I'll have an easier time selling the nearly mint condition stock RX-8 wheels then the Work Wheels. What do you guys think? I can either put the stocks on the 8 and try to sell the Works or keep the Works on the 8 and try to sell the stocks. What ever stays on the 8 goes to the auto auction for the highest bidder. Any suggestions?

Hmm,

I wonder if a set of P5 wheels would clear the brakes. I'm sure someone could probably provide you a set for cheap. Just a thought though.

hmmm.... try to sell the work rims seperate i think? ull get more for them than the rx8 wheels sold seperately and when u auction the car out, work rims/rx-8 rims wont really matter.

to explane it easier, its like parting out a car b4 u sell it vs. selling the car souped up. ull get a few more bucks parting it out vs selling it with all its parts on.

I have a potential buyer for the work rims. We went today to the body shop and the buyer had a set of wheels that fit to replace the works. So at least the works are off the car now.

Oh, and lower price of $700 for the RX-8 wheels!!

I need to get rid of these. Anyone even interested? Something can be worked out,. I'd even consider a trade for a moped!! I need transportation bad. Call me 428-4156

Seriously though, I wish I could take the RX-8 wheels off your hands, but I just don't have the cash flow.
