wheel spacing question

If i want to go wide.... what are the problems with the length of the bolts sticking out of the caliper, like say i put 15mm spacers on the rear, the 5 bolts that hold on the spacer.... would they stick out or be flush.

if you put a 15mm spacer in, you have to get extended lugs. there is not enough thread to safely secure the wheel.

no i mean look at the Eibach wheel spacers. they aren't just a piece of metal with holes in it, they have the 5 holes drilled to bolt the spacer to the hub, then another set of 5 that bolt the wheel to the spacer itself, what i was wondering is if the bolts from the original hub will stick out of the spacer

You have to check the back of your wheels, to see if the pockets will fit the extra length of your studs. I know for my wheels, 15mm is the minimum spacer I can run to clear the studs. I would assume it will be similar for your 3, but idk since I've never seen the back of the 3 wheels.

I run 15mm spacers w/ built in studs on a 17x7 +55.

Here's the hub face of my Racingharts:

If that helps you as a reference. Just take some measurements of your wheels, the clearance in those pockets on the back of your wheels, the length of the studs, etc... And then add em all up to see how big of a spacer you need to run in order to clear the studs. With 15mm spacers, my studs barely clear. The studs actually left marks in those pockets from just barely touching the back of the pockets.

You need at least 20mm spacers to clear the OEM wheels, but some aftermarket wheels have deeper pockets, like in the above pic, to allow only 15mm spacers.

Your other option is to get extended length wheel studs and run normal spacers, that's what I did. But I only needed 10mm spacers.
