wheel spacers

what size wheel spacers do you guys use for the stock wheel to get it as close as possible to making it look flush with the fender am looking for a set and what sets did you guys like

I don't know much about spacers brandwise, nor do I endorse them, but the easiest way to figure out how to get it flushed is with a plumb bob and a ruler. Drop the plumb bob down the side of the fender so it crosses the centerline of the wheel, while the car is on the ground. Take a ruler, and measure the space between the string on the plumb bob and the center of the wheel (the center cap is a great way to go) and you've got how many mm you need to get flushed out. Keep in mind, much over 10mm and you're going to need longer wheel studs.

Man, I would NEVER put spacers on any car/truck/whatever, but certainly not these. I bought it to hustle through turns. I'd be scared of tearing the suspension out!

I do believe he was talking more about "these" as in the ms3, and not wanting to put spacers on it. I agree.

Correct. The MS3 is capable of some pretty serious cornering loads. Putting a spacer behind the wheels will increase the lever-action on the wheel bearings and change the suspension geometry. NOT recommended, IMO. I know I wouldn't do that to any of my rides.

I have seen first hand how bad spacers can be on a car. I work as an acura technician and last week a customer came in complaining about a noise while turning on his 09 mdx. the first thing to be told is the mdx was on a huge set of 24 inch rims and what appeared to be almost 2inch thick spacers behind them. needless to say the spacer and t he extra weight of the rims and tires had sheered one of the bolts holding the hub on and was in the process of destroying the other three. spacers are bad and completely ruin the built in handlind of the car and upset the suspension and can cause alot of damage that would def. not be covered under warranty. stay away from the spacers..

Spacers are primarily for looks if your going in that route, as I have used 10mm on my +43 making them 33. They looked great, but damn rolling like that while sitting lower gave me issues, handling was worsened in my opinion, turning radius sucked, and I hated rubbing on the fender(had to roll it more). But Im not going to lie, the flush look is great. 25mm spacers are what your going to need OP if you want to look flush with the stock wheel and tire set up. Madvillian I believe has that set up, or HAD that set up.
