Wheel Spacers

Has anyone tried 15mm spacers on stock racing harts?

If you are lowered it is unlikely that you will be able to run 40mm offset (RH's are 55, minus 15 for the spacer) without clearance issues. You would most certainly have to roll the fenders and prolly have to deal with camber to clear. Some have gone to smaller 16" rims to go wider, but imho 17" still looks best on our cars.

im looking at some hubcentric ichiba v2 15mm spacers that bolt up to our stock studs and come with their own studs, im almost positive I will have some rolling to do, I will also probably go to a lower profile tire like a 215/40/17, just found out my bbk will nly clear by running 15mm spacers :(

i would get full replacement studs that go through the hub, not ones that rely only on the spacer for engagement.

well I just put a set of 5mm spacers on the MSP with the stock RH's and they fit perfectly!!! I got over 5 full turns of the lug nuts before tight. The look
is wayyyy better IMO. I would like to see what 10mm ones looked like though.

Now I'm confused. I tried to put 5mm spacers on my MSP with the RH's and I couldn't even get the lug nut to thread on at all.

5mm is nothing at all... I think you got issues if you don't have an extra 5mm of thread to get the lugs on. I've been looking at 10mm spacers, but noticed the MSP fenders come pre-rolled, so I might man-up and get 15mm spacers.

previous owner must have rolled yours, 'cause they don't come that way. interestingly my MS3 came from the factory with the fronts rolled but not the rears.

I gotta see pics of other people wheel wells, but it sure as hell looks like my fenders are rolled and were done so professionally. If that is the case, I win! (2thumbs)

i think you win! the previous owner did a sloppy job of rolling the fronts on my MSP and the rears were not rolled.

Maybe they're not 5mm them. not yellow, I bought them off of you, were they 5mm or not?

edit: nvm, I just checked and they're 5/16" (8mm). So should 8mm spacers fit the stock setup? If so, I have a problem.

Anyone know where I can find a 5mm spacer kit for a 4-lug protege? I looked on Ichiba's site and didn't see any in the right pattern.

**edit**
Found a link on the first page.(stoned)

you should at least be able to get them on. i have run 1/4"(6.35mm) on both the MSP and MS3 with no problems at all. obviously less than a 2mm difference. whether you feel comfortable running 8mm spacers on stock studs is another question. but there should at least be enough thread for you to test fit them... no sure why they wouldn't go on for you.

11mm def isnt safe, i got like one turn of the lug nut and i actually ended up stripping one of them cuz it didnt thread on enough

8mm should be fine with the thread

I picked up some 5mm spacers for the front which will bring my offset from 43 to 38. See how this works out. I might try pushing to +35 all around.
