Hmmm you have to be careful with some of those 3rd gen 7's as I have seen alot with replaced engines and such. Apparently they had alot of problems with the engines blowing in them. What else is wrong with it??? The list could go on forever. I have seen really clean good looking cars that weren't worth the pavement they were parked on and then I have seen some the looked like crap but would be reliable to drive 100+ miles per day every day. Its a used car so just be careful other than that it looks pretty good, except the wing and the fact that it is an automatic.
FunWagon: rx-7's have tempermental engines if you are not religious with the maintenance schedule. but if you change the oil and fluids as reccomended, the engine should last over 100k miles without a rebuild.
Just heard of alot of probs with them. Seen alot in the classified too with new engines and such. Love the cars personally. Wish my roommate still had his 95 black on black R1. That thing was sweet.
All rx-7's 93 and on were twin turbos. so that is not suprising. Plus that thing is almost a 10 year old car. Price isn't really that far off.
yeah...first off it's an automatic so that's no fun...and second off it's a 3rd gen with over 100k...i'm amazed that it's made it that long...my bro. in law's '93 R1 made it to about 88k miles before the engine blew...the rx7s can be somewhat reliable but you have to be very good with all maintenance which most people are not
It may have other upgrades that I am not aware of!! I just know of the ones I can see. This car turns ALL heads!!! Here is your chance to get a piece of the FAST & FURIOUS at a GREAT price!!!!!!!!!!
and the sad thing is... those few sentences are probably what will convice the looser that ends up with this POS... it LOOKS really nice and really clean.. nice wheels, nice paint, looks like its dropped a bit.. even the wing goes really well with it (ok ok.. flame on guys but its FR so its not just for rice...)... but its still a piece....
oh yah... and $20 says that the reason he has "NO DEALERS PLEASE" in big ass bold lettering is probably because he knows if a dealer buys the car they are gonna want to inspect it first... and by the time they look through everything they'll probably offer him about 2 Grand.. lol
