Does anyone know the best size rim for the pro 5's...? I got 18" x 7 1/2 with a 48 offset and for some reason my rear driver side rubs against my wheel well... Does anyone know if there is a better size than that or is there something wrong with my axel or lower control arms on that side?

I would say your problem is the offset of your wheels. I don't remember what the correct one is for wheels that big, but if you search I'm sure you'll find it. You could probably go into page 2 or 3 of this part of the forum and find the answer, there are new wheel threads every week, and they all ask the same thing.
Either that or goto the wheel & tire section of the forum.

18x7.5 50mm offset w/ 215/35/18 on my P5 Just clear perfectly. You can get your fenders rolled or take your wheels off and machine off that extra .080" from the backside. I know it doesn't sound like much but it is enough. Verify that you have enough clearance from the back of the wheel to the strut first.

16 or 17 x 7 or 7.5
18s do not look right on these cars MOST OF THE TIME. Besides, that is a lot of extra weight. I got 17s because my Rota Attacks are pretty light, a ton lighter than stock.

I think 16s are probably the best size for our cars for performance, and 17s and some 18's for look. I might be getting some Volk wheels this summer, and if I do I'll almost definately get 18's, just because they're not much heavier than the 17's, and if I'm gonna spend that much money on wheels, I want people to be able to see them, haha.

You're using those wheels Andrew? I'm have some 626 wheels in the garage in the same size, 9 lbs each. They're getting some Azenis soon.

17x7, no rubbing, cheaper, lighter, can still run 215's.

IMO....
Wheels are like dicks. Bigger is better looking, but too much rubbage causes wear and pain. I'd rather lose an inch and hit the corners hard. You just gotta find the right fit for the application.

I have the MSP wheels with stock tires size and I get rubbing as well. But your not rubbing the wheelwell. Its a plastic cover that protects the lines that go to the gas tank. My tires was actually eaten up by it and I just removed it. If you look carefully the passenger side doesn't have one. After removing it you won't have any problems.

You dont have to look underneath. When you take off the wheel it will be the only panel there. There are 3 clips that hold it in. Just unscrew them and pull it off. I really don't see why you would need it unless you go off-roading. I haven't had any problems and no more tire wear.
