What's The Best Size Rim???

Does anyone know the best size rim for the pro 5's...? I got 18" x 7 1/2 with a 48 offset and for some reason my rear driver side rubs against my wheel well... Does anyone know if there is a better size than that or is there something wrong with my axel or lower control arms on that side?

I think the good offset was 45 wasn't it? 48 might be pushing them out too much. Someone? Anyone? Still doesn't really explain rubbing on 1 side only though. I have 17 x 7.5s with 205/40/17s. I would like to go with 215/40/17s but not sure about rubbage.

48mm offset will tuck further into the wheelwell than a 45mm. P5 lowered minimum 48mm offset and may require rolled fenders. I have 18x7.5's 50mm offset perfect clearance with my coilovers and no rolled fenders.

Wheels are like dicks. Bigger is better looking, but too much rubbage causes wear and pain. I'd rather lose an inch and hit the corners hard. You just gotta find the right fit for the application.

hahahahhahahaha

As for the intake, it really doesn't matter what type of intake you go with. The straight pipe wouldn't make a difference unless you had headers and midpipe. A sufficient CAI will do it.

The +48 will fit better than 45's. The smaller the number the further they stick out. And why it is rubbing only on one side is due to a panel covering the fuel lines that is only on the drivers side. If your car is lowered with an offset below 48 you might have to roll the fenders.
