Turbo... u said u wanted a show car for now... which means later on u would want a fast car... well u have the money now so just get it when the money might not be there later one.... besides a turbo in a car that isnt that easy to turbo would probably be point worthy especially if u got 2nd without it... u could prolly get 1st.. just chrome it up and shine it like hell and make the engine all shiney and thats pretty show AND GO... judges like it when are both

I would stay with a header that is ceramic coated. Turbo's and exhuast pipes get ugly with that much heat.

i am the one that says paint job...for shows it is the FIRST thing anyone will see. gotta get their attention, so they will look at the rest of the car.

1swt those tail lights need to go. The stock ones look much better and will sepreate you as everyone and there brother has those things by now. Otherwise I would open up the ones you have and paint the insides black so the merge with the car better. Right now they stick out and say "cheap as s***" on a nice car.

Next we go to the stereo install. For a small amount of money you can make a couple of bueaty boards to flush in the subs and amp. The subs facing back still but move the amps onto the sub box and then flush them in so when you pull down the seat you see the amp and cap flush. Also I would drop the amp in favor of 2 newer kicker amps which you can paint there covers black, the factory finish is actualy a primer. Flipping down the back seats to see 2 kicker amps flushed in and painted black will DEFINITLY seprate your car form the others. I would use the same blue color on the grill for the subs and the flushing board behind the seats.

Next up, KICK PANELS! Nohting says nice interior like a sweet set of custom kick panel pods! You can also use the same blue on the grills for those.

Non turbo gauges always piss me off, not a nock to you, just a anoying thing for me. I would get spoolins stage 1 turbo for $2500 and get a A/F guage, Boost gauge and keep the oil temp.

That should be most of your budget

I was thinking the same thing. Or atleast get the red tail lights with the round lights inside. I don't care for the tail, a little too rice. I like the MP3 tail. Lastly, a little surprised at the stereo set up. s*** looks really tight, I am not by far dissing your ride. I love the rims, painted calipers and what you did to the inside. Just my two cents that's all. I know I don't have much room to talk as my car has nothing flashy except the stereo, but I am so broke right now that doing any thing to the car is far less important to me at the moment. Gotta work to live and live to work is the way things have been for the past 2 1/2 years. I can't even afford to go out and buy a freakin' car mag. Thank God for free porno sites. LOL

thanks for the replies, the tail lights will be painted this month along with the headlights(thinking of getting p5 headlights also). next the stereo....... i know it needs work, i am going to build a new box and flush it into the trunk then build an amp rack in the trunk. 1st mp3... i've seen the kickpanels in a few cars...do u have a site where i can get them or do i have to make them. besides that i am adding 3 more screens for now and dressing up the engine for another show in 2 weeks.

I would aviod the screens, WAY over done these days.

Kick panels will have to be custom made.

I agree with everything 1st MP3 said and get those tails and that wing off of your car...

And unless you are extremely worried about speed, there is no need for the most powerful and expensive turbo setup...The $2500 spool setup will yield more than adequate power and not crack your budget too bad...

Understood, I cleared that up in the latter post...I knew you didn't say anything about the wing, I was agreeing with the advice you gave about the Spool turbo and the stereo...

id lose the tails first of all, sorry, thats my opinion, and then get a kit for look wise. turbo? im not too sure if that much money should be invested into a car like ours... no offense to any mazda drives out there, but idk... 3-4gs for turbo? thats a lot of money and it doesnt make our car blazzin'. so idk dude, but id go with the kit - chris

Boy we have expensive taste!! I voted for turbo with boost as did the majority! I see in parenthesis that you stated, "All of my money!" No mercy for those who are in to cars. Expensive hobby! We got to find a cheaper hobby! For now, it's just too fun to stop!
