What tint % do you like?

I need to get my MS3's windows tinted. Any recommendations on how dark?

35%, it sounds light but trust me I think it is just right, cops wont pay too much attention to it and it really is pretty dark, but not too dark to see out of at night.

Hmmmm....

NY only allows 70% front and rear side windows. I wonder how much I can get away with? And if it's even worth it.

I wanted to do that, but every cop that I spoke to looked down upon having legal in the front and dark in the back, assholes. If SUVs can get away with it, why can't hatches or station wagons?

I like 15%, but 28 is the legal limit on the fronts here so I just went with that all around. Still looks dark on the bm.

Front Side Windows Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window Any darkness can be used.

I heard Tx is a pretty strict state too, and you haven't had any problems? I may get a retint in the back to 20 and keeps the 35 in the front like I have now.

I live in Nevada, I'm not sure whats legal, but I just had mine tinted to 15% all around and I've had other cars tinted to limo tint with no problem, besides most all of the cop cars are tinted to at least 20%.

I think it looks pretty ghey when you tint the back really dark then really light in the front or none at all. The legal limit for Florida is perfect, especially on a black car. I think its funny looking at all the cars up here in IL, no tint allowed on the front windows. Glad my car is still regestered in FL!
