I know this sounds like a morbid thought but another forum I am on had one of these and it is kind of neat to think of; what song do you want to go out to? I will get us started:

Not really having a funeral per se (this is what I want to happen, no lie, I am putting it in my will)
1. I will be cremated
2. There will be a backyard cookout/party with my remains sitting on a table or something with plenty of booze, (if it is winter then they can have it catered in a hall or something)
3. Lots of good classic rock/ 80's power ballads/ hair metal
4. No suits just normal clothes
5. At the conclusion I want two of my frat brothers to re-enact the scattering of the ashes scene from The big Lebowski (mix a small portion of my ashes with some wood ash or charcoal ash) They will have to recite walters speech verbatim and someone will have to say the dudes lines as well.
6. The final song to play would have to be Queen's the show must go on

I had a play list actually in my itunes. I since then changed computers and havent gotten around to it.

I want a huge party and people to celebrate my life. and life you. no one is allowed to dress up.

I try not to think about my own demise. I honestly don't care what goes down at that particular party, I won't be there!

We actually just had a cremation for a family member. She was a Huge Jimmy Buffett fan, so if u came to the church service, u were not allowed to wear anything except a Hawaiian shirt/ and or something tropical. and she wanted a party afterward, so we had a few margarita machines, Buffett playing, and lots and lots of tequila, and rum. its what she said she wanted, and it was a great time.
