What size rims/tires will not rub (stock ride height)

Well this morning i found the mother of all pot holes and managed to bend one of the stock rims beyond repair (i also have 2 others slightly bent from other pot holes since this car seems to be attracted to them). So im looking into some new rims. My question though is what will fit without rubbing and without modification if i intend to stay at the stock right height? I can find tons of stuff about if youre lowered but nothing about oem height. Id like to get something that will fit the factory size tires for now since money is a problem right now, but will also fit a more popular tire size (which also means cheaper) down the road when i get money for tires. Sorry for the noob question but ive been looking at wheels and tires and researching all down and my eyes are about to explode. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The wheels listed at Tire Rack will fit without any modifications.

As far as fitting stockish sized tires stick with the 7.5-8" width. At stock ride height you have a lot of options, including setups that would be more aggressive when lowered. For example, at stock ride height I ran 18x8 +40 and 225/40/18 on stock height with no modifications at stock. When I lowered the car, I needed to roll the rear fender lips.
