What should i do?

I bought my car in summer, and i was getting 26mpg~ 30mpg+ full tank.
it been winter for about 3 months, and i have been getting 18mpg~20mpg. and 22mpg MAX ( once). Is this normal? i dont even ride it hard because there is snow, and i drive slowly. what should i do? please help me

Fuel Economy always drops in winter. Everyone knows that. The reason I'm told is that there is more fuel used by your car against the salt, snow, and ice on the ground. I believe it's because of the traction necessary to drive through these conditions that it uses the fuel. I could be wrong.

But rule of thumb as I've known it.

Fuel economy sucks during the winter. It's even worse with rear-wheel drive.

I beg for the day that I get a car with front wheel drive. Stupid 929.
 
Another reason fuel consumption goes up in cold weather is it takes a lot longer to warm up the engine, and when the engine is cold the computer has it run rich (more fuel). It even happens down here in Florida in cold weather, lower gas mileage.
