I am currently in the process of installing a exedy stage 1 clutch and fidzanza flywheel. If all goes well (which from past experiences tells me is something very unlikely) I should have the stuff in by tomorrow

Tranny only. But since I am doing this in the garage it will be interesting to see how things go, from what I read it doesnt seem horrible, but also isnt too easy.

cool, definitely let me know any tips, and how it goes...i have a feeling my clutch isnt gonna last a long time after i get this thing tuned up good..

I just did this a few weeks ago. Make sure that you replace the rear main oil seal, while you are in there....

yeah I saw what happened to you in another thread and was thinking of replacing it. how do you replace it? do you just take it out and slide in a new one? I still haven't gotten the tranny off, but will be working on it in a few hours.

My next mod is gonna be a new rear quarter panel, door, and paint job! FML
Yeah, but you need to follow the procedure to take it out, and put it in. I has to go in evenly, or you will be leaking all over the place.
On a side note, my next mod will be to fix my freaking idle. I idle at 2K for some reason...

Next mod is going to be a grounding kit. I am in the process of making it today and installing it tomarrow.
Ok, so I got under the hood of my car, and found a couple of things:
1. I believe I have a fake-ass HKS SSQV. I applied pressure to the intake track,using this, and found that right away the BOV was leaking. I have the screw all the way loose, so I tightened it, until I couldn't hear the leak anymore from the BOV. The only worry I have now is that maybe it won't respond and open as easy as it should, and would send surge back toward the turbine blades. Bottom line is that I need a new (AUTHENTIC) BOV. I'm considering getting this one: Synapse Engineering SB001

Also, I'm gonna try to get my header installed in the next couple days too. Got it wrapped and painted this past weekend, now I need to make a gasket and it's ready. I'll take some pics and temp test too.

hes making a custom midpipe..
oh and hey culrider...i just cut off the flange end that mates to the header off my sls midpipe if you need it?

I actually could use it, but it probably wouldn't cost much more to get one locally then it would for you to ship it here in time (getting the custom work done on Monday).
And yes the thing came with a custom midpipe. It only uses a standard Magnaflow cat (2.5"), so I may lose 1 or 2 HP compared to the highflow from the MAM midpipe I have, but it will surely be less loud, and therefore less droning, so it's worth it (also a lot less expensive then doing a lot of custom fabbing to the MAM midpipe.
