re read the thread in the news section. this "fee" does not apply to personal sellers, just people who are making stuff for profit (eg, you are making a particualr part and selling it) no selling off your old stuff. this go blown way out of proportion by people who DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.

I am also wondering. Why is everyone dancing around this question. What is the fee? Antione goes off on people without even answering the question and accuses people of childish. Closing that thread seemed pretty childish to me. Can someone clarify exactly what are the facts and what isnt? That would go a long way to clearing up the confusion and some of the rumors that are floating around.

Notorious.....I appreciate your comments because they agree with everything I've said all along. However this will probably label you a trouble maker like me, but don't worry. I'll still bear the brunt of the mods "fury". It seems like you become labeled a trouble maker when you question those in charge.

but yeah, i wish there was more information put out at the start of this. mainly the most important piece, which was how much it would cost.

i dont think charging members who support and make this community better is a good idea. i was personally thinking about it in regaurds to the MOCC forums, but i felt that if a member is an integrated member of the community, and not just out there solely to run a business then they don't need to pay any fees, because it is people like them who serve the community and make it better.

After much scolding I've decided to tell you guys that the fees are OPTIONAL.....was this made known to anyone prior to the post about member fees? No. Thats why I was questioning them....however I didn't start the thread, I wasn't the only person to comment and I said nothing radical....however I was singled out as the "troublemaker". How convenient.

Alan, feel free to agree with me when I right. Laugh at me when I'm wrong and ignore when I say anything else.

Matthew...In all honesty I think the fee was NEVER optional, but when they saw the uprising forming they went back on it. This isn't a rant, just a comment. I wish people would realize that the intraweb does not convey tone of voice of emotion well when I say something like this.

The admins really need to handle situations like these a little better. If the fee's are optional then why was no'one told this publicly? Only after EVERYONE commented against this was it made public knowledge that the fee's were not mandatory. I even offered to make a donation to the forum in exchange for moderator support in my threads and some small ad space. Is this too much to ask?? I don't think so.
