What is the most aggressive I can go WITH rear fenders rolled?

I think 18x9 with 40mm offset will be my next set up I think it is perfection!

Whose car is that anyway?

To me, I dont see the point of a wheel that wide if your only going to run a 225 width tire. I can understand if you like the looks, the whole stretched tire VW thing. Personally I like getting as much tire as possible under the car and using appropriately sized wheels for that tire.

actually maximum recommended for 225 is 9 in, its not much of a stretch anyhow

Thats not my point at all. I could care less if you can stretch our stock 215's on a 10" wheel. Aside from achieving a look and maybe even some stiffer side walls, what have you accomplished? It all goes back to your goals. If your like me and want to actually be able to put down as much power to the ground as possible and increase overall grip then those same 10" wheels would be wrapped in 265+ (obviously hypothetical). IMHO upsizing wheels and tires is 99% aimed at getting more rubber under the car and the other 1% is an aesthetic bonus.

To each their own.

madvillian, you say for the front wheels, there is about 10mm between the edge of the tire and the strut? what rim/tire combo were you running when you took this measurement?

I'm pretty sure he was referring to his 18x9 30et 245/35 combo.

hmm...so that is with a coilover setup huh? i assume the stock struts are wider than coilovers....so I have less room to work with?

Im running 17x9+45 and I just ordered 10mm spacers for the rear.... I have lots of room to play with

perfect are 18x8.5 with 45 or 48 offset

does noone check the sticky at the top of this section?

i'm running 235/40 on 18x8.5 +44 with only rear rubbing with passengers or luggage over BIG bumps... i could run 245 with a spacer up front and a "slight" roll in the rear.

Stock suspension or drop?

Okay, I'm sorry for asking a stupid question, but I don't know much about suspension.
I'm planning to put Cobb sport springs on my car with 18x8.5 +48 OZ ultraleggas, can I run a like, 235? or would I have to go smaller?

im running 17x9 with 35 offset in the rear with jus rolled fenders and tein stechs and nearly no rubbin wit my kids in the back.but i also m runnin some stretched tires which i do for looks not for performance so dnt flame jus puttin ideas out there!!!
