What is the better clunk fix?

I have had a clunking sound but it seems to come from the front and the sound happens once and a while. It seems to come and go. ANy ideas?

Have your front endlinks checked. I had one replaced on one side last year and now the other side is getting noisy too.

[I just got back from the dealer who basically said, "yes, we know your car has sucked, but you're @ 55k, so buh-bye"]
Yeah, that's about where I was right before the Delsing kit was available. I'd had the E bushings on a while and they were squeaking and clunking like mad. Even with the car under warranty, the dealer was still hassling me about replacing them. I was lucky enough to be in on the first batch of Delsing kits so I was able to handle things independantly of the dealer.

Maybe if Micaspeed! is too busy to make another batch, he'd be interested in selling the design to someone else. Has anyone tried contacting him about that?

$26 per bushing? No Way!!

I think that whoever was quoted $26/per bushing was given the wrong price. I just got home from the dealer and the list price on those was $12.17 CDN per bushing. There is no way they should be as much as $26. The only thing that I can think of is that they quoted your for a pair of front bushings ($15.71 CDN each).

On another note, when you guys put your "E-Type" bushings in did you grease? If so what kind? I see the TSB about it says Silicone paste - what is that?

Cheers...
