What have you done to your Rotary Mazda Today?

My friend installed, VDI on my car, and I got some Pineapple racing inserts for the sleeves :) I fixed a couple of grounds as well. I have to test continuity on some old wiring though :( My trailing coil isn't firing, I think the plastic connectors are too old and there is some corrosion between contacts, I may wire up new ones.

nice stuff... Im wondering about the condition of my 5th & 6th ports...that will have to be determined later...if they're screwed im just wiring them open since i dont really care about low end power loss since this will be a track car and wont see too many low revs out there...

track car or autocross car? If the latter, you'll want (read: need) the low end grunt.

i suppose at times...but not that frequently...and its been posted that to some its not even noticible...like i said, i'll cross that bridge when i come to it :D

Please god let someone get the reference...

Just remember, don't cross that bridge if you can't make it out of the kitchen.

our 5+6 ports were gummed up something fierce when we got ours... one was seized half open, the other seized closed...

car idled a whole lot easier after we cleaned em out and got em working again, and it was a noticeable boost in power

Oh....and I'm waiting on Ken so I can install the RB intake and exhaust. Dying to work on my car and it's getting busy again.

I had a meth kit installed

That stuff will kill you. Haven't you seen all of the ads with the kids missing teeth and sores on their faces?
Unless you mean methanol.

Why do you need methanol in a sub-300 HP installation? You are no where near needing that kind of cooling, especially with an A/W IC.

I am being proactive, pateintly waiting for StageIII.

I was at 270whp with the kit we were able to get it to the 301whp.

Funny to see you here.

How come you haven't been back on the S/C thread pushing buttons it was fun?

It's not as spicy anymore.

Not much left to talk about.
The kit is pretty much stalled where it is for most of its users - which is to say missing way too many important parts and way under-engineered.

I've already come up with fixes for the kit for the local guys - no point in helping the other yokels out since they are mostly clueless, anyway.

When I'm ready to move the Cobb stuff over, I'll probably dive back in...

if you do't mind me asking what fixes and are they critical to the longevity of both the s/c and the car.

This is my first rotary plus the first car I do so many mods to.

They are mostly engine management things. Since the Int-X is a "band-aid" for the most part, they don't apply to anyone running it still.
But for the people that are switching to a more "complete" EMS, they are critical.
There are also some loose ends in the kit itself that have to be taken care of.
