Yes they are locking, I bought mine through a local Aerocatch dealer to make sure they were the real deal and not knock off like most things on fleabay. Some people have had luck buying from PasswordJDM but some are missing pieces that are important. Ill PM you the guys email and info for the Aerocatch approved vendor in the US that can get you all the pieces and make sure they are legit versions.
Appreciate it, I plan on getting the P5 running by April/May time frame and would hate to have my nice new hood blown off in my first long trip.

AFAIK, mines sitting at stock height... I think. This picture doesn't show it very well but IMO, the stock wheel gap isn't TOO dreadful...

My pal said he's got a set of 17s from a VW... do you guys think i should at least try em? What's the closest size sidewall before I'll rub? Im not planning on keeping them, just wanted to see if he has them to just throw on for s**** and giggles? I'd rather pick up some OE rims or a nice set of aftermatkets down the line

JDM PRo5 (Cam) and I got ours from PasswordJDM along with their backing plates. Cam was thrilled with their fast shipping and customer service. It took me 3 weeks to get mine and 3 emails politely asking for a shipping date estimate. But I did get them eventually. Haven't installed them yet though.

Have you opened your pieces yet? Cam was missing a few pieces that i had to get my contact at Aerocatch to send him so that he has a proper install. Nothing crazy but i bet if you asked him his hood sits better now and does not move as much.
I think v-dub wheels are 5x100 bolt pattern.

This was a Blue (I think) one and sounded bone stock. If you're getting trolled by a yellow one with a black hood and deck lid, I know exactly who that is.

idk the guy that troll me had/has a giant monster sticker in the back window. its either dark blue or black.
I didn't get a good look at the back window... never had a chance. Lol
