What have you done to your P5 today?

lol no jt. just work is slow right now. and everyone else is busy/sleeping lol


i drove it to work and looking into getting a t-kit for it
 
ugh wasent trying to sound all LAZY bro. just I can multi task and right now its slow :D
 
Packed my OEM bumper last night to send off to a buyer. 1 Fridge box, 1 giant roll of packaging tape, 1 pair of scissors, 2-3 hours of making the box fit and securing it for a ride on a Greyhound bus

also just picked up the EGR pipe for my 626 mani that is starting to look proper for my engine bay

one before this one was tho :p

trying to get a set of sedan lights atm and waiting to order 5mm spacers tomorrow. have 7 mm right now but it rubs a bit too much on turns. (on the rear)
 
Already know abt the MP3 ecu does not apply to my P5 since it has an auto trans and don't want to do a tranny swap also
....wife does not want to learn how to drive a manual trans which I always tell her it's easy and fun to drive....so abt the headers...any BRAND that would work without any CEL issues. also plan to change the pipes after the cat converter to match my existing mazdaspeed rear exhaust. Thank you guys in advance for any input you can provide...want to get the right stuff from the start since I don't have enough $$$ utilize if something goes wrong.

Didn't see the auto part oppps I agree

they will give you a cell. because you are removing the primary cat. easy fix tho you just need to get a non fouler trick and it takes the cell off:)

Just looked at the thread..thank you so much for posting it....my only other concern is if I change the headers and do the MOD...will it pass Arizona State emission test...one other P5 owner posted he has the OBX headers that did not require the MOD and has not been having any CEL issues.
 
Then that cat has a burnt out check engine light. Any aftermarket header (singular, unless you have a V6 swap) will throw a CEL since you are deleted the pre-cat. With the simple non-fouler trick you're good to go without a CEL. I'm in Ohio so I'm not sure what kind of inspections AZ has but I passed the emissions check both times with a header and non-fouler in two different P5's, no worries. Hope that helps, mate. :)

Thank you. Is it worth getting the unbranded headers off from ebay or go with the OBX brand which is abt $200 plus? Any other brands out there that don't cost as much? Thanks again. (smoke)
