What have you done to your P5 today?

I'm happy it was a quick fix.

I'm so glad my school pretty much ignored the strike, I've been off for about a month and am loving it :D

Good luck on your remaining exams!

I finally fixed the stupid corroded headlight harness, and now I no longer have to get out and whack the passenger side headlight for it to come on... hooray for not being ghetto!

I'm glad nothing was delayed, it was my last semester and I was very happy to get it over with...

It was weird, the business and engineering faculties went on as if everything was normal, but the fine arts and arts & science faculties took the strike much more seriously.

I don't attend the clubmazdaquebec meetups, I'm not on that forum very often so it's not like I'd know anyone there. If ever you decide to go and want someone to follow you on the highway to make sure no major parts fall off your car, I could probably do that :P

I am about to return my 02 P5 back to stock to sell it to a friend. I hate it because I was this car's original owner and I have been visiting this forum since the P5 was around. I am gonna miss some things but especially the 08 MS3 wheels I bought here from forum member Reut1.

Washed and Waxed.

Also after doing an engine inspection, turns out my Medieval passenger side mount is totally gone. all that is left is a bolt and washers. lol

I soon hope to replace that.

Since there is no topic like this for the RX-8's, I washed and started the long polishing process on the car. It will take me most of the summer to get the RX-8 paint close to where the P5 paint is. I need to do another light polishing on the P5, and lay down some light coats of paste wax. :)

Just bring it to my house

Finally....had time to get the front brakes replaced. Squeal is gone :) but what a b**** they were this time. PS allen bolt wouldn't free up at first but I eventually won while both 17mm bolts broke right free. And for whatever reason when I compressed the piston the first, second and third times it still wasn't retracted all the way (even though each time I did it I cranked the c-clamp and then some) and the outboard pad wouldn't clear the rotor. After the fourth try, all was good. Exact opposite for the DS, allen bolt broke free but the 17mm bolts took some PB Blaster and lots of elbow grease to break free. Only had to retract the piston twice on that side...still not sure what I did wrong there? In the past I've always done it the same way and only needed to retract it once and they fit like a charm. Guess next time I'll keep cranking the c-clamp, even when I think it's good?! And mother nature was nice enough to send a cooling torrential downpour my way while I was in the process of cursing out the PS piston.
