What have you done to your P5 today?

I looked at those, even with my 18's I could be slammed and never rub, but in utah with all the snow plows there are constantly pot holes. I didn't want to be so low that I could physically hit any other component on the under body.
lol you won't. ever. you would have to be on 16's and coilovers with collars removed. seriously. I was tucking tire on 17's and never came close to rubbing anything. the p5 is mega body high.

yep just tell them you need an alignment. what color are you making your/my old rh's?

I would call ahead and make sure they can get your car on the rack. Some shops just don't like aligning lowered cars because of that small hassle. Looks good though.

Are you serious? Unless you're seriously low or you are going to an alignment rack with the highest lip on the face of the planet a P5 on springs will not have problems.

That low, not even the lip hit the rack. You guys the P5 is freaking high. You're not going to frame bang on springs, or get stuck, or scrape on the rack.

well when i first got my car i saw this picture and its been my inspiration ever since, so i think im going to try to match the lighter silver racing harts... but im open to suggestions

3 places didnt want to do it since they were just scared of doing it... but i remembered that theres a 'Just Tires' near me and one of the guys that works there has a slammed Lexus. i called him up and he said he could do it no problem.

that look is my inspiration as well. if i find me a set of RH's i want to paint them a dark gunmetal

Hey o.g., let me know if you figure out a way to keep the clock spring for the turn signals. I have a Sparco wheel too and had to delete it. I sometimes forget to cancel my turn signals... rather embarrassing.

hey man. i installed my sparco wheel friday night. it was really quite easy. everything came right apart, even though it scared the crap out of me removing the air bag. lol
i was wondering what hub you have man? my nrg hub worked great with logo facing up. turn signal cancel worked one time perfect, then the return would only work if the turn was, lets say, a u-turn. wouldnt work in just a regular 90* turn. go figure.
so, i remembered turning the return mechanism to the right to line up the mounts on the hub to the car when i 1st installed it.
i removed the hub, and rotated it so the holes on the hub are now as close to horizontal as possible. they were vertical before. so now, the hub logo is facing down, (not really an issue) the holes line up nicely and i have perfectly working blinkers.
here, look..
this is the way they looked untouched. i had turned them to the right to line everything up and they wernt working. now they are positioned back the way they were, as in this pic, and everything works great.

heres the hub im using. theres no way to to rotate these holes to the way one might like. the entire hub must be rotated. no biggie.

and, my wheel and hub assembly.

Rob, I'm just passing along the info. I never said P5's are super low, but I've had a hard time finding alignment shops here in Ohio that will even bother aligning my lowered P5. And I'm not even very low. I was just saying he should call ahead first. I've actually dropped my car off for an appointment only to have them call me 15mins later saying they can't do it. Mostly because of laziness on the shops behalf, I'm sure.

the light silver is a good look

OG, thanks for the pics and explanation. I've just got a cheap hub but it will be replaced with an NRG when everything gets swapped into my other P5. I bet you're loving that Sparco. It just feels like the car's steering is so much more precise with a new steering wheel. Looks really good.

Nothing to mine today but met up with about 20 other guys from nator nj and ny for an install meet and helped out as best I could. We're stubborn and refuse to wait till spring! :D

finally finally finally going to give the p5 a drop over spring break! didnt end up getting tickets like i wanted to for Comic-Con so my money will go towards this :D :D :D :D

my question is, i know people talk about just getting the moog/escape endlinks for replacements, but is that front specific or should i get those for the rear also. and what other hardware should I pick up before the install of new struts and springs. I know top hats, but where do I get thems from?
