What have you done to your P5 today?

I'm planning on getting another set of DDM's 8k's for my fogs as well. I should invest in some battery harnesses, at least for my headlights.
Mx-P5, the actual circuit path went bad, If you open the top of the box, you have a pearlescent casing that holds all of your fuses, you have to separate that from the black plastic (which isn't supposed to happen) and get down to the circuit components. I was scared to death to do it, didn't wanna break anything else lol.

i tried to put hids on my fogs. but bulbs were too big/long? which ones yall get specific g3 bulb or what?

you'd need H3C bulbs, but those are SUPER prone to breaking

And PLEASE don't put HID's in halogen reflector bowls, they'll glare like a mother father

and JDM, thanks, i'll have to take alook

ah there it goes. knew i had read which bulb it was but could not find it. thanks

guys have managed to stuff standard H3's in there too though, but it required a little modofication of the fogs

No prob, sorry I didn't take pics of it as I went.

Thanks for the info about the H3C bulbs, didn't know they were that fragile. I originally got some of the "high powered" colored bulbs, I went for blue but it came out white and not quite as bright as the stock OEM Yellow fogs. the 35W HID's are plenty bright, I never use my highbeams, once I get the fogs I can run them out on the open roads. I live out in the mountain/woods so there is no one, just deer, hills, and curves. Gotta love my country touge. Unfortunately when I see people out in my area where we have no street lights, they always flash me cause they think my HID's are too bright.

Too late, I already did. (lol2) But now that I've adjusted the DS bulb I don't get flashed once a day.

Drove it to work this morning after having the 3 yesterday.

My headlights are pretty hazy, I'm gonna clear them one of these upcoming weekends which should take my super glare down to a clean light.

i mean in the fogs

The Protege5 headlights actually handle HID's better than most any other car i've seen (remember i had em in both mine before projectors)

Option 3 is always an MSP lip and projector fogs in the grille ;)

^^^Oh, don't recall reading about the glare from the fogs. I just left mine alone and looking for a replacement as my DS is cracked. :( Yes, I remember and can't believe you've had the projectors for so long....time flies!

Light *****! :p

That is a cleeean ride my friend. The tinted lights with the projectors look sick! I would take that car any day. Where did you manage to find an MSP lip?

This is the week I installed HID's...about a year ago. I don't know how I managed to destroy the clear on my driver side headlight so fast

You know it

and thanks, that's the wife's car

and the lights aren't tinted, that's a custom fiberglass shroud around the projector

as to the MSP lip, i've had 3 lol
black one first on my P5
