yeah, it should fit fine. The only difference between the two cars occurs after the back seat.
thanks, i figured that but wanted to make sure.

so the bearing seized and scoured the hub.......and i nees a new hub...any sellers??I can think of a few things:
- The bearing was incorrectly pressed into the steering knuckle (eg. pressure was applied to the inner race)
- The axle nut was over/under torqued
- The steering knuckle is bad, probably from the bearing's outer race spinning in the knuckle
- s***-quality bearing

That sucks, Kyle... I hope she will live on.
I'm getting ready to pull my JDM KLDE to put in my Milly this weekend. Then my P5 will be sitting in the garage for the rest of the winter while she gets a lightly built KLZE, MegaSquirt ECU, MFactory LSD, racing seats/harnesses and roll bar and possibly new wheels. The drive home from work just now will be the last time she'll be running for a couple months. Kinda sad, but I'm stoked about the new build. (wiggle)
80% of blue book value.....you're cooked!
There's multiple blue books? That's news to meim gonna do all i can to prevent it! no way I'm shopping for another car!!! ill go to another body shop and have them fool with the numbers some. I'm doing the body work with a friend so it won't cost nearly that much, but we will see! it'll be close if its 80% of the blue book value, depending on which blue book they go by.
So now i gotta go to the insurance and have an appraiser look at it.
does anyone know if the carpet for a sedan will fit in the protege5? i would like to replace mine this winter when the interiors out but cannot find a protege5 specific one.
Put on my (big mud) winter tires
Because they fill out the wheel arch so much I noticed that the back of my car sits a bit lower than the front. Is it normal for our cars to look like there's a dead hooker in the trunk?
Filled a hole that somehow appeared in the bottom of my car with foam sealant and then sprayed some rubberized undercoating on top to help keep out any water. Also the car sounds like a go kart now with a blown exhaust gasket, anyone know of a quick cheap fix. I can find very few muffler shops down here and they all want $75+ to chop out the rusted flange and replace it instead of just replacing gasket. For that cost I would rather just chop out both rusted flanges, eliminate the cat and just run a straight pipe for this section.
Why not just replace the gasket? You could always use some high temp sealant around the area...
so i went and got the estimate for the damage to my car finally and it came to a god damn $4600! they would want to cut out and replace the quarter panel rather than fix it. So now i gotta go to the insurance and have an appraiser look at it. hopefully i can convince them to not total if they would. Just say "listen, i want to keep the car. give me just a few less than the amount needed to total it and lets go!"
ill throw a new door on the car and leave the quarter panel dented before i get rid of my p5!!
