if your actually putting down hp you can not hook up with one tire fire like you would with lsd.. regardless of throttle control if i'm 1/4-WOT once boost hits it breaks loose.. and yes we agreed to disagree.. put a protege with open diff against lsd and see what the outcome is..

and just so we are clear i said for a "DD streetcar" i don't see the point in removing anything.. and i also agreed if you are racing then yes weight reduction helps.. jeeeeezus wwjd lmao

I removed my stuff, like I said, just to see. I have my moods when I will rip stuff apart, but the a week later, I may just put it all back. I like tinkering. This is how you learn....

Looking at the individual items it doesn't look like you can save much weight, but I quickly summed up the list of interior stuff and it works out to a little over 350lbs! You'd definitely feel that.

IF it it makes the car faster on the track it has the same effect on the street. If you don't use the s*** and the tradeoff is worth it to you then it only makes sense to do it and if not worth it to you because you use the stuff then of course you wouldn't do it.

Really? On open diff on 10psi untuned I wud roast emm. From. A 45mph roll feathering gas.. not I don't do it as much with welded lsd.. but it still breaks loose..n you kno I'm on a gt2860rs. And on 14psi all you hear is tires scream. Samthing on my buddies cars we're all around the same power n all of us can roast our tires without trying.. its a bit annoying actually people always think I'm tryna race them but with the 4puck clutch s*** just snaps lol..

today i finally swapped in my gt spec trailing arms and vbrace panel and arms. does anyone else that has the vbrace and arms installed have an issue with the exhaust rubbing the arm?

Whats it matter anyway what people do to their proteges, its a forum we all have our own ideas of what is good/not good. Some like miss matched bumpers or bodykits, some prefer to track their cars and remove weight, some just remove things that are unnecessary in their cars. We all do what we want to our cars i don't see why you keep talking and running your mouth about something you clearly stated you don't care about. end rant..

Dang kids! On the subject of V8 killers... I did a few datalog runs this morning to check my boost afrs 12.00 @29-30psi by 3800rpms in 4th and partial top of 3rd gear run due to major traction limitations... Weeee!
