surpassing 2k work of upkeep and such since August.

I bought a cheap reader off ebay for $30. OR if you have an Android phone, you can download a nice app called "Torque", get yourself a bluetooth OBDII adapter, and have a real-time readout of damn near everything.

this^. i downloaded the app for free and the reader was only 20. you can also watch all your realtime data such as coolant temp, intake air temp, timing, and much much more

Wonder if I could get something like that for the iPhone and utilize it through my stereo screen. I do have the video output cable fo it so I can watch movies from my phone while on the go

Put on new pads and rotors on all four corners and replaced front calipers and lines (now I finally have new calipers and lines on all four corners).

I used the stoptech street performance pads and I must say they're very impressive. Before bedding they seemed like average pads but after some bedding fun they stop super hard. Also, I didn't put anything on the backs of the pads, thus far I haven't heard a squeak, hopefully it stays that way.

If you still have the original lines be sure to have a can of penetrating oil around. Two of mine wouldn't budge until I gave them a 30 min soak in PB blaster.

I've basically torn my entire car about in the past two weeks. JDM KL installed (working on the wiring), BC coilovers installed, endlinks installed, both lower control arms installed, new cooling system installed and a ton of other stuff. But the good thing about working on your car from top to bottom is that you really know your way around it from now on.

I'm so close to finishing the wiring, then firing it up and working out all the bugs. I've been wrenching every day for about 4 hours and all weekend for what seems like an eternity. I miss driving.

Snapped a heat shield bolt going to install my shifter I gave it such a good soak with PB Blaster and like no torque and it still broke

Also having issues getting the stupid niteshades off my tails. God, what a bad idea...

Yeah, that's what I was using today! I had a fault code from using seafoam the other day that I needed to clear. Nice to be able to get a code and look it up on my phone!

With the number of times those bolts have been heat cycled and the amount of rust they collect theres pretty much no way to get them all off without snapping one or two.

Went for a little joyride to get some JB weld. I used it to glue an M10x1.25 standoff inside a Mitsubishi MR263906 shift knob. Without the standoff the threads simply don't come down far enough, you can see what I mean here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/151595766-post28.html

The knob itself is roughly 4 times heavier than the stock one and it feels a lot nicer, I'm quite pleased with this cheap mod.

So I went for a cruise in the rain. Found out I need to take the bumper back apart. I hooked the window washer fluid hoses to the wrong pumps. Now the rear spray switch wets the front window and vice versa.
