What have you done to your P5 today?

I have the tribute nozzles and they do spray, not piss like the stockers. But I would shim them under the hood so the spray pattern is lower on the windshield. Mine are too high where they miss the whole bottom half of the windshield. I think a few others have mentioned it too. But nothing a quick fix won't cure so I still recommend them.

Re: Tribute Nozzles

Check your local dealer first and see how much they'll cost and then check with onlinemazdaparts.com. Believe it or not, sometimes the latter option is cheaper/more convenient than the local dealer even with shipping costs.

I entered the part number above "EC016750YA" and the years came up as '01-'06.

That's the part number that's been posted in previous threads.

One of the best and cheapest "mods" you can ever do for the P5.

Made the finishing touches on my 626 long header. Waiting on a flange for the mid pipe to finish that up along with the rest of the exhaust. (which is completed)

Picked up a new SSQV, I'll be re routing my charge pipe and intake pipes.

Should be selling the MS6s along with the FDs if I can get a right price.(FD)
Plan on picking some aggressive STI stock rims (17x8.5 or 18x8) or going with rx8 rims.

dont buy any electronics from a store. Amazon or ebay do a great job for usually 1/3rd the price or more. hell some of the stuff is brand new for 1/3rd the price and they include shipping... I just saved over $500 on my double din, amp, and new boston acoustic speakers and only spent $400 total

funny you say that, i ordered a passenger side mirror from amazon on the 28th of January and have yet to hear from the seller, filling a claim on the 11th to see about getting this resolved. went to ebay last saturday at 1am and have a tracking number and the item shipped out today and should have it tomorrow sometime.

on another note, still trying to figure out why this remote start isn't working. called zenesis and they said to tap into the black/yellow wire on the clutch with the 2nd ignition wire and i still get nothing. any ideas from anyone that knows p5 wiring as to if there is a 2nd ignition wire somewhere that i do or don't need to tap into with this wire? if i have the ignition 2 wire tapped to the same spot as the ignition wire i get nothing but starter click, with the same wire tapped to the clutch wire i get starter click, but no start either way. can't seem to figure this out... to keep this on topic please pm me with any/all information. thanks

ordered driver's side mirror today (to match the passenger replacement that I got in/installed today so both will be black instead of body color), new tires should be in (thank god, right rear was looking bad when i put on the exhaust a few days ago). all that's left are lights and brake lines... anyone wanna roadtrip to help install those? I have blue moon lol.

maybe if something does go down for install/meet a fresh set of eyes can look at my remote start... still stumped, as well as my installer friend.

Installed my KMR lower tie bar with some slight modification to get around the awr oil pan. Also added 8mm spacers and longer studs to accommodate Dunlop Z1's in 225/40/18 on order for tomorrow which are said to have a wide profile more like 235's. I have a rolled up newspaper handy in case more fender pulling is needed on the scene :)

Link to pull fender with newspaper?

Got the new ssqv. Verified real. lol I was scared it was going to be a fake.

Going to slap that on tomorrow, install my new map on the ssafc. =)

lol its on zivia if you search for it...all you do is just roll the newspaper up, put it on top of the wheel and drop the car slowly on it
ive never seen any before and after shots though so hard to say if it works well

I rolled up a very small section of newspaper (since I don't want a gap just clearance) and with the car in neutral started from the rear near the bumper and pushed the car forward slowly the newspaper moves with the tire... just watch for the bumper tabs they can break easily.

Productive afternoon:

Ordered 8x sets of bumper clips from Online Mazda Parts :p
Washed & Chamoised car
Removed bagfull of receipts, drink bottles etc
Removed ghey racing clampon foot pedals
Paid 6mths rego

Hopefully my dad should have finished painting my turtle cover, so I'll most probably install that as well as a wings badge to it ;)
