What have you done to your P5 today?

I with the stock crank pulley putting down 160hp and 176tq @4psi I have bedward's onld crank pulley thats good for 8-10 psi. Havent had a chance to slap it on yet. I also have to find a custom size belt. Looking to push over 200

so who has the 35w ddm kit. how do you install this damn thing lol.

Put the plugs where they look like they should go? You will no longer need the black H7 bulb adapter if thats what is holding you up... just plug the spades into the white (cream) connector.

that awesome to hear man. i have a friend that has a modded cobalt ss and the supercharger is a diff kind of power. it feels like a n/a car with a sweet ass whine. turbo cars just pull and pull, when the supercharger is in full boost as soon as the pedal is pushed

I've got the 35watt DDM kit and it was an easy install (though I got the battery harness) and they've worked flawlessly for about a year now.

got one in...very simple without the harness also. most trouble i had was the damn clip going back on. have to get the other done tomorrow after work. i started a bit late and it got dark quick so i just need to clean up the install. with what little bit of driving i did i didnt notice much but it wasnt that dark and i need to aim them. i should have got these a long time ago.

ouch, those things are expensive lol from what ive heard they have some decent weight to them though..
i have a Greddy counterweight knob, and it makes a huge difference in shifting, the TWM is even heavier then the greddy i beleive (if u got one of the weighted ones)

They are too expensive, but they are really good quality and they have a good selection of colours and good weight to them. i got the A6 leopard which is 485 grams. nice and heavy, cant wait to see what it feels like. but i am gonna have to make something to put over it in the winter. a metal shift knob in -40 wont be very fun to use, haha.

My Skunk2 knob is 550g and it could be heavier, to be honest. I don't notice a huge difference between my pool ball knob (which I'm currently rocking) or the weighted Skunk2 knob. (shrug)

thats weird...i noticed it was easier to shift, but now that ive had it for a while, dont really notice anything

and today, i was looking through my garage, found 3 brand new quarts of 10w-30, so all i need is 1 more quart and an oil filter and i got an oil change :D
also found out that the protege shares a oil filter with the 2011 GT-R, and the Smart lol

how difficult is it to install struts by yourself? or how much on average ya think it would cost for a shop to do the work?

struts/springs aren't too bad. You just have to be extra careful with taking them apart. there's alot of tension on those springs when they are loaded on a strut. I've seen a few fly off and do some serious damage. If you wanna save $$$, take the whole assembly off the car and take it to a shop to swap out the pieces. then take them home to put on the car.

aside from the occasional pain in the ass endlinks getting stuck its a basic nuts and bolts job. Rent some spring compressors from advance autoparts (free rental with deposit). Only other issue is just making sure the springs are lined back up correctly but thats just common sense if look at how the strut is put together.

Well painted one of my bbs wheels today color is electron blue pearl will do another tomorow and so my project continue's :)
